Start Fresh

Let’s start the week strong! Forget what you ate and didn’t do over the weekend and start fresh today.

I challenge you to eat better and move more this week!

Step one of having a successful week is shopping smart. I always make a grocery list based off meal ideas I found on Pinterest or cookbooks. I love going to the farmers market for local organic fruits and veggies too. :)

I do my best to stock my fridge and cabinets with healthy choices because I want to nourish my body with quality foods.

Meal prepping and workout plans are another great tool for a solid week.

I may not be able to do everything I planned, but I at least made the effort to write it down because what is a goal without a plan.

If my body needs another rest day then I take it, it does not ruin my training. And same goes for meal prepping, if I can’t make everything I planned or I happen to eat out during the week, my diet is not wrecked. We are all busy bees and life happens, just dust yourself off and move forward.

Meal Prepping for the week:

Homemade Granola
Grilled chicken breast
Quinoa
Brown rice
Homemade hummas

Workouts for the week:

Monday: Short run
Tuesday: Barre
Wednesday: ART apt & weight training
Thursday: Boxing & abs
Friday: [Trying a free class at Orange Theory]
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Long run

My grocery list, refrigerator, and kitchen cupboard look almost identical to your pictures! I LOVE Trader Joe’s and go every Sunday. I always get simple recipe ideas off their samples :)

I LOVE this because sometimes it’s too easy to get bogged down in beating ourselves up rather than dusting off and moving forward. Each meal & each hour is a new chance to start over and make a healthier decision. Great post!
