Hubs, Cruz and I stayed at the Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale this past 3 day weekend! We wanted to do something fun, relaxing and local. There are really good deals on groupon and booking.com for local resorts/hotels in my area. We ended up buying it through this site.
This hotel was super cute and we loved that it was only 5 minutes from where we live. It honestly felt like we were on vacation in Cali (if you know me then you know I’m REALLY missing San Diego right now).
Sooo don’t judge me but I told the hotel it was our anniversary. Even though our anniversary is less than 2 months away (so kinda of true right?) I thought I’d try to make it extra special for hubs and I. They ended upgrading our room to a suite!!! We didn’t need the extra room but it all added to the amazing experience we had.

We checked into our hotel an hour early and immediately headed to the pool. If you want a poolside cabana you better snag it quick!
We ordered drinks, got chips & guacamole, swam around in the smaller pool (this pool was more family friendly) and took a nap in our cabana.
We had brunch at Arcadia Farms Cafe which was a short walk from the hotel. Joey got the black bean omelet and I got the french toast with chicken apple sausage, sooo bomb! If you go, get a pastry too!!!
If you’re not familiar with the area I suggest checking out these cafes/restaurants:

This hotel is the perfect place for a blogger or someone who appreciates cute photos for their ig. There are tons of colorful walls and cactus decor everywhere. Sometimes I just wish I had a professional photographer everywhere I go cuz hubs gets annoyed when he has to take photos of me.
