No Bake Balls

This is one of my FAVORITE snacks…and dessert…and pre-workout fuel – I basically eat this all day everyday. I eat anywhere from 2-3 balls a day and not just because they taste good, but because of the nutrition content. These balls have lots of healthy fats, omegas, whole grains, protein and fiber.

This recipe makes a lot of balls but I promise it will be worth it and you will be back for more!

No Bake Balls

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup almond butter or peanut butter (almond butter in the picture above)
    1/2 cup honey
    1/2 cup ground flaxseed
    1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/3-1/2 cup chocolate chips (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • Optional additions: cacao nibs, shredded coconut

  • Makes 25-30 1″ balls

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Oats, almond butter, honey, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and chocolate chips.

2. Mix together. There will be clusters of nut butter so make sure to break it apart, get those hands dirty if you have to!

3. Form into 1 inch balls. Store in an air tight container in the fridge. IMG_5417
