  • If you love chocolate malts this smoothie is meant for you! This version is much healthier and has added benefits from the maca powder.

Maca powder is an Incan Superfood. A superfood is a nutrient-dense food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being. Maca is known to nourish the endocrine system, stress-fighting to increase stamina, boost libido, and combat fatigue. It’s packed with vitamins and essential minerals. In just 1 tsp you get all of that!! Add this powder to smoothies, granola bars, yogurt, or date balls!

  • Chocolate Maca Malt

    INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup almond milk
    1 frozen banana
    1 tsp maca powder
    1 tbsp cocoa powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serves 1 person.
  2. *I do not recommend someone eating this smoothie everyday of the week! I aim to have most of my smoothies with at least 50% veggies not solely fruit based. Although maca powder is very beneficial, there are other ways to include in our diet. Maca powder was bought from Whole Food.
