36 Weeks Pregnant

Week 36

Week & size of baby: 36 weeks preggo and Cruz is the size of a large cantaloupe. What to Expect app says she’s roughly 19-22 inches & 6lbs.

Date: December 25-31, 2016

Trimester: 3rd trimester.

Weight gain: I weighed 138lbs at my 36 week prenatal appointment, 21lbs gained. I’m all belly!

Prenatal appointment update: Cruz’s head is still down, her heartbeat at 140 BPM, she weighs 5lbs 7oz (based off the size of her bones in the ultrasound), and my cervix is 1cm dilated.

Doc said to go to hospital if I get contractions every 5 minutes for 60-90 minutes while sitting or if my water breaks. It is getting so real!!!

How many weeks left: 4 more weeks!!!!!

How I’m feeling: 
Workout: Listening to my body and doing what I can. My workouts are no where near what they once were but I’m happy I am still able to be this active.

Body: My back still hurts so I’m continuing to see my chiro and making hubs rub me 😉

On Xmas night I freaked out because I had the worse achy internal pelvic pain. I cried because it hurt like hell and it was such an unfamiliar feeling. How am I going to handle birth?!? Sheesh.

Energy level: Exhausted but anytime I get spurts of energy I take full advantage of it.

Week 36 Workout: 

Sun: 1 mile Xmas walk at Chaparral Park

Mon: Rest

Tues: Rest

Wed: 1 mile run + Full body workout
2 rounds, 20 reps:
lunges with hammer curl, upright row, squats, 200 jab/cross combo, 2 min wall sit

Thurs: Warm up: 1000 meter row and 10 mins stairs
2 rounds, 10 reps:
curls, rotator cuff external rotation, hammer curls, shoulder press, bend over fly, tricep extentions

Fri: Rest

Sat: 2 miles at 9:30 pace
