This is by far my favorite breakfast! I can seriously have this everyday of the week because of how yummy and quick it is to make. There are plenty of good carbs in this waffle to keep you full and fuel your busy day, good fat from the almond butter and a good source of protein. It hits all the macros (carbs, fats & protein), which is always what I aim for at each meal. Don’t have a waffle iron, no problem – simply make these into pancakes
1 egg white
1/2 cup oats
Blend all ingredients in blender. If batter is too liquidy add more oats, aim for the perfect balance of liquid vs thick consistency – similar to pancake batter. You can also fold in blueberries or chocolate chips into batter, once it has been blended up of course. Pour in waffle iron and cook for 3-4 minutes or until fully cooked and golden brown. Top with almond butter and banana slices.
