25 Weeks Pregnant

Week 25

Week & size of baby: 25 weeks preggo and Cruz is the size of a Rutabaga. According to the What to Expect app she’s around 9inches and 1.7lbs.

Preggo Fun fact: My uterus is the size of a soccer ball. Cruz’s nostrils have opened and she is breathing the amniotic fluid.

Trimester: 2nd trimester!!!

How many weeks left: 15 weeks

Movement: Cruz is super active! I am constantly feeling her kick and punch. Joey and I talk to her all the time.

Symptoms: I felt super pregnant earlier this week. Moving took a lot out of me and moving boxes was hard, I can’t bend at the waist instead I squat when picking things up. Felt much better towards the middle of the week once I got back into my workout routine and healthy eating.

Sleep: 8-9 hours

Pregnancy Items: I bought a Maternity Fit Splint in a small. I bought this to mainly relieve pain from my bladder and for my bump to feel secure during runs.

**UPDATE: I’m 28 weeks right now and I haven’t used it as much as I thought I would. But it’s a nice to have as a back up. Might try to use it more. Will post another update in a few weeks as my bump grows.**

Avocado toast {Ingredients: whole wheat toast, 1/2 avocado, egg, sautéed greens, cilantro}

Random Thoughts: Finally someone asked about my baby bump!!!! Either no one can tell I’m pregnant or they are too afraid to ask. I was so excited when this random lady asked when I was due! Maybe I need to buy a shirt that says I’m pregnant because I love talking about Cruz.

Best moment of the week: Going to the pumpkin patch at MacDonalds Ranch in Scottsdale!

Week 25 Workout: 

Sun: Moved into our new apartment in AZ!

Mon: Rest (super exhausted from moving)

Tues: 3 miles total: 2 mile warm up, 400 meters fast, 400 easy, 400 fast, 400 easy
WOD: 2 rounds 10 reps: bicep curls, sumo squats, chest press, KB swings

Wed: 20 min bike
WOD: 21-15-9 rep – deadlifts, single arm KB swings, single arm rows, push press

Thurs: 5 mile run with Amy
Run details: 5m, 47:01, 9:25 pace
+ a 2.5 mile walk exploring Scottsdale

Fri: Rest // Suns game

Sat: 75 minute run (no watch)
WOD: 2 rounds – 10 weighted squats, 15/each bicep curls, 20 chest press on fit ball, 50 hip bridges
